After establishing himself in Memphis, Charlie White launched himself into a relationship with Red Bull in 2009, as well as becoming the newest member of FreeSol, a Memphis band signed to Justin Timberlake’s Tennman Records.
In the past few years, Charlie White has performed at many of the top festivals and industry events across the country. Some of these shows include The Late Show with David Letterman, Sway In The Morning, MTV Spring Break, SXSW, Lollapalooza, Justin Timberlake and Friends Concert in Las Vegas, as well as the Bacardi B-Live Tour opening for Q-Tip and Big Sean’s “What U Doin” Tour. He has performed at star studded events such as the Winter X-Games as well as the Sundance Film Festival. While performing with FreeSol, Charlie White opened up for acts such as Elton John, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, P. Diddy, T-Pain, and Big Boi.
In 2012, Charlie White was invited to participate in the Red Bull Thre3style DJ Battle in Charlotte, in which he earned 2nd place. He also earned 2nd place in the Thre3style in 2013 after being invited back to Charlotte for a consecutive year in a row. At the end of 2012, he was a finalist in the McDonald’s DJ Flavor Battle, finishing with the Sprite Spin Off competition.
Like many notable DJs, it wasn’t long before Charlie White began to craft his production style. In 2013, he released “Let Go”, which was featured as Pepsi’s “Mixtape Of The Month”. He currently is based out of Los Angeles and London.
